“We drive without licenses and they take our cars and we start all over again from zero.”

Los Angeles pro-undocumented immigrant rap group Estado de Emergencia (State of Emergency) hits the online airwaves with their legalization anthem, Legalizame. Fronted by Dazer, the video was filmed during a pro-immigrants rights march on May 1.

Univision gives them a shout out, where EE explains that the theme of the song is the pressing need for immigration reform and a call to legalize all the undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

“We are only here to work and succeed,” say the lyrics to Legalizame. Visit them at EstadodeEmergencia.com
