Looks legit: How to make fish tacos (one-minute video)

Summer’s coming, that means beach weather, and that means seafood, like the Baja California favorite, fish tacos. Did you know that the great majority of “native” videos on Facebook are viewed without sound? This is one of those new-fangled recipe videos you can watch without sound, although you’ll miss the perky music. The recipe is pretty good, too.

Here’s the recipe from the Web Restaurant Store (they made the video):

Ingredients for Slaw

4 cups of red and green cabbage
1 seeded and minced jalapeno
3 tbsp. red onion
1 tbsp. fresh cilantro
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. lime juice
1 tbsp. agave nectar

Other Ingredients

4 corn tortillas
2 lb. mild white fish cut into chunks
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup rice flour
1 tbsp. kosher salt
2 tsp. ground cayenne pepper (or any other seasoning)
2 cups of club soda
Avocado slices
Pico de gallo
Lime wedges

Directions

Combine all-purpose and rice flours with cayenne, kosher salt, and club soda and use this mixture to batter your fish.
Fry your battered fish in cooking oil until golden brown and crispy. Place it on a screen and allow it to cool.
Combine slaw ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Assemble fish and slaw on a heated corn tortilla. Add sliced avocado and garnish with cilantro. If desired, add pico de gallo and serve with lime wedges.
