POCHO favorites Mariachi Las Coronellasthe all-mujeres mariachi band from South Texas — continue their musical odyssey as they channel David Bowie’s 1973 Space Oddity, AKA “Ground Control to Major Tomas.”

The band was featured last weekend on Texas Public Radio with an hour long concert broadcast that includes Space Oddity, Theme from the Godfather, La LLorona, some Johnny Cash music, and lots more from bandleader Vanessa Del Fierro and the gang.
