(PNS reporting from VIRGINIA) Today’s shootings at Lone Star College in Houston brings America one step closer to the National Rifle Association’s goal of having a mass shooting in every state, according to NRA president David Keene.
“There have already been mass shootings in 30 states, and one day, every state will be a red state thanks to the efforts of the NRA,” Keene told a hastily-called press conference at his group’s Fairfax headquarters Tuesday afternoon. “This is a big dream of the NRA, and we are working hard to achieve it.”
Keene said that the NRA believes children with rage issues and crazy people with no training, mental screening or background checks are the building blocks of a well-regulated militia.
“Only when teachers, crossing guards, bus drivers, bullies, psychopaths, paranoiacs, loners, religious extremists, homeless and delusional people all over the country are armed with semi-automatic weapons will we truly be safe,” said Keene.
Critics have called Keene “insane,” “idiotic,” “sick,” “grotesque,” “psychotic,” “disturbed,” “heartless,” “evil,” “reprehensible,” “kookoo,” “nutso,” “maniacal” and “loco en la cabeza.”
Keene maintains that the definition of lunacy is in the eye of the beholder.
