POCHO.COM’S FACEBOOK PAGE FINALLY RESTORED TO RIGHTFUL OWNERS
The POCHO.COM Facebook page is now back in the hands of POCHO Jefe-in-Chief Lalo Alcaraz and POCHO Jefe-de-Content Dennis Wilen (aka Comic Saenz).
The page was hacked, disabled, and then stolen in a series of exploits that started in 2020.
Wilen — who had administered the FB page — was locked out of his personal account, and the new “owners” of POCHO’s Facebook page posted their own content under POCHO’s name.
Alcaraz and Wilen continued to publish on the POCHO website while in “Facebook jail” as they tried to get their 12-year-old FB page back.
Alcaraz’s latest appeal — claiming intellectual property infringement — reached the right people at Facebook owner Meta earlier this week.
Wilen’s account was restored today (8/31) and he and Alcaraz are now cleaning out and reviving POCHO’s Facebook page.
Said Alcaraz:
“Now you all can get back to wasting time on our pages as you peruse our hilarious content, secure in the fact that The Pochos are back in charge. All is well in Pocholandia.”
