In the democratic socialist paradise of Denmark, possibly in Copenhagen aka København, the Mexican Donkey food truck serves up “Mexican sandwiches.” After that, we’re not sure about anything. Pre-fried hard tortillas for tacos? Bread that looks like English muffins? Not a chile or sprig of cilantro to be found? Where’s the beef? Is that a machaca, queso, cebolla, frijoles and mayonnaise torta? And if this is the Burro Mexicano truck, where are the pinche burritos?

IS THIS WHAT YOU MEAN BY DANISH DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM, BERNIE SANDERS?

“First time I see something like this in my town,” LiveLeak member MoparFreak writes.

“Broke a lot of windshields and caused damage to houses and businesses; only happened in a part of the city. It’s not a regular event. A lot of people panicked about this. First upload. I recorded this myself at work. Had mi car inside the shop I was lucky. For those who don’t know Juarez is on the Mexico border with El Paso, TX.”

koreaMeanwhile in Seoul, Korea, two college students video an excursion to local Mexican restaurant Don Charly for a class project. They are unclear on the entire enchilada, knife and fork concept.

goattacosIn Chicago, baseball fans love their loser Cubs.  Some say the Cubs’ bad luck is the result of the 1945 Curse of the Billy Goat that has thwarted the home team’s dreams. Now a local bar is urging patrons to fill up on goat tacos before going to Wrigley Field to defeat the evil curse. Is this witchcraft or wishful thinking?

estefanWe at POCHO have been around so long we remember when even Mexicans didn’t want to be Mexican. (We think that was just about two weeks ago.)

But Miami-based Cuban-American Emilio Estefan and his friends are all Mexicans now, at least in a music video.

By the way, we at POCHO also remember when Emilio Estefan threatened to sue the L.A. Weekly because of a “Mexiled” column that Lalo Alcaraz wrote portraying Estefan as the Fidel Castro of the Latin Grammys. Oh, but that was so long ago…

Let’s all be Mexican instead! Mexican, tu sabes, is the new black.
